Every person faces difficulties in his or her life
In many cases, we know how to handle these problems well, possibly with the help of the people around us.
Sometimes, however, the problems are so big or frequent or the questions such that you can’t get out yourself.
The immediate environment cannot always provide sufficient support or understanding.
In these cases, there may be a need to seek external help from a psychologist.

Individual therapy

Individual therapy can help you with the following problems:
feelings of unrest, fretting or specific fears (whether or not related to COVID-19)
  • gloom, depressed feelings, negative feelings due to low self-esteem
  • feelings of stress and burnout
  • mourning
  • trauma treatment
  • recurrent negative patterns in your behaviour such as smoking a lot or drinking alcohol
  • problems during your studies or having difficulties choosing which study to follow

How does it work?
The first step is an introductory meeting.
At the end of this interview, we will look at the follow-up options regarding your specific help request.
If you continue, a tailor-made route will be set out. The therapy that follows usually takes place weekly or fortnightly.

Partner Relationship Therapy

In any (long-term) relationship, frictions can eventually arise.
However, in case of relationship problems, it is not always the case that the relationship is not good in the basic. 
Problems can also arise in good, loving relationships. These problems can be expressed in, for example:
  • poor communication
  • lack of intimacy or little sex
  • power struggle
  • frequent quarrels
  • shut you down and withdraw
  • disinterest in the other, falling in love or cheating

Relationship problems are a good starting point to improve your relationship and develop yourself.
In relationship therapy we look at the underlying patterns in the relationship that are causing problems.
I can help you re-establish communication and explore how to re-establish a sense of love and connection. 

How does it work?
The first step at relationship therapy is an introductory meeting, in which we investigate what your request for help is. Then we’ll see how I can best help you. 

The talks usually take place once every two weeks. In between conversations there is room to practice at home with the commandments. 
The duration of a relationship therapy route varies by torque, but you can assume at least 6-8 calls. Awareness and breaking existing patterns takes time.
